Our Story
A Spokane Family. A Spokane Specialty.
B&B Sprinklers, Inc. — has been the industry leader in home sprinkler systems for Spokane and the Inland Northwest since 1957. At B&B, sprinklers are our specialty, not a sideline. That focus allows us to concentrate every effort toward one goal: providing you with the most dependable, full-coverage system available today.
For most of our customers, this is the first time they’ve shopped for a sprinkler system — and they have many questions. For a moment, set aside price and product warranties, and consider what you’re really shopping for: a freedom of lifestyle. A freedom that comes only when your system is dependable, delivers full coverage, and uses a controller that’s easy to use.
At B&B Sprinklers, Inc., we address every component of that system and back each one with the best warranties in the industry. We’ve been doing it this way since Eisenhower was president — and the fundamentals haven’t changed, even as the technology has improved dramatically.
1957
B&B Sprinklers Founded
Bob Jeffries establishes B&B Sprinklers, Inc. in Mead, Washington — bringing professional irrigation to Spokane homeowners for the first time at scale.
1960s–1980s
Building Spokane’s Neighborhoods
As Spokane grew outward, B&B grew with it — installing systems in neighborhoods that didn’t yet exist when the company started. Many of those original systems are still running today.
1990s
Rain Bird Partnership Established
After decades of testing every major brand, B&B committed exclusively to Rain Bird equipment — finding it to be the most dependable, full-line irrigation product available. A partnership that continues today.
2000s
Expanding into Northern Idaho
Growing demand in Post Falls, Coeur d’Alene, and Hayden leads B&B to obtain Idaho contractor licensing and formally expand service territory across the state line.
2010s
KXLY Best Of Spokane Nomination
B&B Sprinklers is nominated as One of Spokane’s best contractors in KXLY’s Best Of Spokane recognition — a reflection of decades of community trust.
2025
68th Anniversary
B&B Sprinklers celebrates 68 years serving Spokane and the Inland Northwest — with over 11,000 complete systems installed and the next generation of the family carrying the work forward.
What We Believe
The B&B Way — Since Day One
68 years of doing one thing well gives you strong opinions about how it should be done. These aren’t marketing lines — they’re the principles we’ve built 11,000 systems on.
Full Coverage
An “even green” doesn’t come from an even blanket of water. Our designs account for shaded vs. sunny areas, lawn vs. shrub beds, parking strips, and gardens — because all take different amounts of water. Full coverage means every inch, every time.
Best Materials. No Exceptions.
We’ve tried every major brand over 68 years. We use Rain Bird Professional & Commercial Grade exclusively — because other brands may cost less upfront, but those savings disappear quickly in higher maintenance and repair costs.
No Blow-Out Required
We install freeze-proof polyethylene pipe with a simple drain valve. A few simple steps each fall — open the valve, drain most of the water out — and you’re done. Any water remaining is a non-issue for freeze-proof pipe.
Written Estimate. No Surprises.
We visit your property in person, design your full-coverage system, and hand you a complete written estimate before any work begins. No vague quotes. No mid-job cost changes. No pressure.
Water Efficiency Matters
A well-designed system isn’t just about coverage — it’s about conservation. Our 68 years of local experience means we design systems that are not only full coverage, but also the most water efficient possible, saving a precious resource.
We Stand Behind Our Work
Every system is warranted on all parts and labor. The freeze-proof polyethylene pipe carries a lifetime freeze-damage guarantee — if properly winterized with the simple drain. We’ve stood behind that promise since 1957. Ask us about our warranty
Parts & Materials
What Goes Into Every B&B System
We build every new system using Rain Bird Professional & Commercial Grade heads, valves, and controllers. Throughout 68 years, we’ve tried every brand available and found Rain Bird to be the most dependable, full-line irrigation equipment on the market.
Other brands may cost less initially — but that savings is quickly lost to higher maintenance and repair costs. We don’t cut corners on components because our name goes on every system we install.
Rain Bird Select Contractor
As a Rain Bird Select Contractor, our technicians receive factory training, priority product access, and manufacturer support that most installers can’t offer. That certification isn’t handed out — it’s earned through demonstrated expertise and installation standards.
